iGaming and online casino.

Our role and experience in the real-money gaming industry.

Primary challenges:

Real-money gaming is a traditional industry that has been transformed by technology.  Since the invention of money, people have wagered on odds, but today the industry has evolved from land-based terminals to table games, slots, social games, sportsbooks, and live casino - all online.

Casino operators need game providers; game providers need in-house teams or work-for-hire studios.  And to make matters worse: player acquisition costs are at an all-time high, meaning player engagement and retention are of paramount importance.

A glut of games.

In the video slots category alone, casinos operators have an overwhelming library to choose from.  Discovering quality content is critical.

Market regulations.

Gaming is not equally distributed around the world, so operators and their providers are all competing for the same small selection of tightly-regulated markets.

Technical complexity.

Originally reliant on Flash, operators now need HTML5-native content that works on any device.  And developers need to design for mobile first.

Why we work in iGaming.

We got into gaming a roundabout way.  We were asked by platform holders (and developers) Odobo to rewrite material provided by another agency.

From there, we've chosen our clients carefully; we've worked with NetEnt senior management on award nominations, white-label services, and now the company's flagship 2018 brochure.  We're also contracted by Pragmatic Play to write their operator-facing game descriptions.

We're committed to the industry because we want to see more of the Vegas experience go online, supported by better player engagement platforms and promotions.  We also want to see eSports and traditional videogaming begin their inevitable crossovers with casino.

Our work in iGaming.

Gaming may be a relatively new industry for us, but it's one we've been able to specialise in quite quickly.  A lot of our work was done on a white-label basis or under NDA, but these are some of the highlights we can talk about.  Contact us at [email protected] for work produced for Odobo.
